Estimated Lead Time
While we strive to keep as much in our inventory
as possible, we cannot garauntee that your
order will be in stock. Orders that are in
stock ship out within approximately four
business days. Orders that are not in stock
are placed with the manufacturer on Mondays,
ship within approximately 12 business days, after which time they are
put on a delivery truck and take approximately 7 business days to reach us. From there we ship them directly to you within
3 business days.
Please note that these are estimated lead
times; we cannot control how long it takes
for the manufacturers to produce your items,
therefore lead times may vary.
Once you have placed your order,
you will
receive an email with a complete
invoice
and confirmation with your order
number.
Payment Types
We accept the following types of payment:
Money Orders, Certified and Personal checks
(please note that all checks must clear before
item is shipped), Visa, and Mastercard.

Furniture is sold unfinished and unassembled unless
otherwise specified.
Cancellation and Returns
IN THE EVENT THAT YOU NEED TO CANCEL AN ORDER,
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE MUST RESPOND AND CONFIRM
YOUR CANCELLATION FOR IT TO BE VALID.
Orders cancelled after we have
placed the
order with the manufacturer and
before shipping
are subject to a 15% administration
fee.
Discount-unfinished-furniture warranties
all unfinished furniture purchases for a
refund within 30 days of receipt of item.
All refunds will be charged back, less a
20% restocking fee and shipping both ways.
Please read below for details on returning
items.
Please note that we cannot accept the return
of any piece that has been modified in any
way whatsoever, including but not limited
to stains, finishes, paint or modifications
made when assembling.

If you would like to return your order, please
email us at Customer Service. We will provide you with specific instructions
on how to package and prepare your return.
All Virginia Residents must pay applicable
tax.
Discount-Unfinished-Furniture reserves the
right to cancel any special offers
at any
time.
Discount-Unfinished-Furniture will not be
held responsible for any event resulting
from an error in pricing or furniture description,
after any modification has been made and/or
5 days of delivery . While we do our best
to remain as accurate as possible, it is
your responsiblity to ensure that the furniture
is the correct size and type. If there is
an error on our part which is discovered
before 5 days have lapsed we will evaluate
the circumstances and accordingly accept
or deny the return of the item.
We reserve the right to cancel any order;
in unforeseen circumstances it
may not be
possible to fulfill a particular
order.
Please notify us if there are missing components;
we will arrange with the manufacturer
to
have them relpaced immediately.

Please understand that we must go by the
shipping information provided to us by you,
the customer. Any errors in shipping information
will incur charges from the carrier which
will be charged to you. Please make sure
the shipping information is accurate. Please
understand that if your shipping address
is unusually remote or may incur extra shipping
charges that it is your responsibility to
inform us of this, and you will be charged
the shipping difference after a confirmation
of said charges. If you fail to inform us
of this situation then we reserve the right
to charge you the shipping difference as
it actually is charged to us by the carrier.
Please note that free shipping does not apply
to Alaska or Hawaii. We reserve the right
to retract the free shipping offer in cases
where certain regions are unusually remote
or incur unforeseen shipping charges. In
such cases we will contact you with shipping
estimates and proceed with the order only
after reaching an agreement with you on shipping
rates.
Please understand that once the piece has
left our warehouse, we are not responsible
for the time that it takes to reach you.
We do our best to process things as quickly
as possible, and will use the best shipping
options available.
We ship from our warehouse which means we
assume no responsibility for damages incurred
after leaving our warehouse since we cannot
control the freight companies. You, the customer
accepts responsibilities and must file with
the shipping company themselves. It is critical
that you inspect the unit(s) prior to the
delivery company leaving to insure no damage
occurred during transportation. If damages
do occur please notify the shipping company
upon delivery and note damages before signing
the release forms. If the shipping company
leaves before you inspect, you may be denied
the claim by the shipping company. It is
the buyer's complete responsibility to file
a claim with the shipping company. The claim
is between you and the shipping company.
We are not responsible for refunding purchases
where the piece was damaged by the freight
company.
